First place captured a strong peak action moment framed creatively
to provide context. The second place winner was hands down one of
the best reaction photos entered this month. Third place showcased a
photographer's ability to try something different when presented the
opportunity. Honorable mention was a great capture by the
photographer, but when you get that shot you have to crop it for
impact. "Tight is right" in this case and the negative space did nothing
but drop it down in the rankings.
