This was tough to judge. 1st place: A fine photograph that captures the feeling of the moment. 2nd place: A moving photograph that gets you to feel the heartache of this mother. 3rd place: Good idea to find this vantage point. A thoughtful and well-executed photograph that effectively shows the scene on voting day.
