This category highlights the variety of subject matter for this region. The third place story is shot very well and was probably presented very well in a daily newspaper, but the first and second place stories are hard-hitting news stories about very real international current issues. We had a hard time separating the two, but ultimately felt the Transgender Migrants had a few more moments and gave it the nod. Both very powerful stories though.
