This was another big category that was challenge for the judges. Overall, the category suffered from poor crops and too many pumpkins. First place – immediately stood out for the judges. Great composition. Would have done well as a feature also. Second – Strong visuals. Really nice collection of images. Well-suited for Photo Essay category as well. Third – Reads with a lot of emotion. Great image in a difficult situation. Well-composed without a busy background.
