The first place image was nicely shot, taking the viewer there. Beautiful light and the newsworthyness helped this image place first. Second place gets props for sticking with an event to get a nice feature. Some would have just packed up and went home when it started raining. We would have just liked to see the one catch-while-falling-into-the-fence image instead of all five submitted. We loved the guy in the background fist pumping.
