A few stories needed tighter edits -- just one or two images can throw a narrative off. However, we did love the stories! First place was beautiful and touching, the photographer captured all aspects of this tragic story. Second, shot in a night, was a fantastic tribute to print newspapers, and a wonderful story, possibly on the photographer's own publication. Third was a fun sense-of-place story with moments that made us laugh, though the edit could be tighter.
