Judges Comments

First place is a great, somewhat spontaneous moment it seems the handler wasn’t quite expecting, or the people behind him, though they all have their phones at ready. However, some of the human interaction moments in this category were not quite there and could have used a little patience on the part of the photographers. We chose second place based on good color, composition and lighting - quick thinking on the part of the photographer in a rainstorm, and in finding something interesting to add to the foreground. Third is a unique moment and graphically appealing image.
