Judges Comments

There were a disappointingly low number of entries in this category. We liked the quirky, off-beat moment of the kid in the lacrosse netting. Paying attention to the sidelines of the action and finding a relatable moment of isolation with nice lines was a good capture. The moment of repose amongst the trash was a nice juxtaposition, but we feel the scene could have been worked more. The boy scouts with flags had nice light and colors, but is otherwise empty of a solid moment. Working this scene even more and waiting for strides to line up, emotion on a kids face, one of them to trip and fall, anything would elevate this scene to the next level.
