The first place photo was made with a great eye by the photographer, it was a fresh take on photos from a horse race. Beautiful use of light. The second place photo is exactly what sports features are all about, the photographer had a nice eye and payed attention to the little moments and was patient in waiting for the right moment. The third place photo was a fun moment and well thought out.
