Judges Comments

First place turns out to be a series of images from a nighttime fire - we really like a couple of the images (#2, an overall of the scene and #9, a "frappe" slow motion interpretation of sparks flying) and are glad that the photographer is working the scene so thoroughly, but wish more of the images measured up to the standard these two set. Second place is a quirky view of another fire scene, employing strong graphical sense (but the exposure is a little on the dark side.)
