This category was difficult because there weren't many stories that had consistent photo excellence throughout, but they had enough good frames to be awarded. First place showcased a great variety of moments within a school performance. It captured the emotions and the process of putting a performance together, but some frames seemed grainy or strangely cropped and we wish there was a tighter edit Second place had interesting subject matter with unique access, but the shot variety lacked with lots of extremely wide or extremely tight photos. It seemed like a jarring edit with many similar photos. Third place had potential at first with some some great frames, but could have used a tighter edit and also fell victim to grain, blur and strange cropping.
