This category was lacking with few entries and little variety overall. First place was a unique way to capture breaking news in a situation where everything could look very business as usual and boring. A bit surreal and took an artistic eye to even see this photo as a potential frame. Second place has attractive lighting and showcases a moment of people affected by the spot news and less of first responders, which is refreshing. Third place was your classic house fire photo, but the composition and leading lines put my eye right where it was supposed to be. It seems like a clean frame that's not too busy.
