First place has almost everything you need for a good sports photo: the ball, nice light and a good face – well done! It isn’t quite “peak action”, but still a great sports photo. Second place was an extremely clean and frame with some nice color – nice use of a vertical! Third had great peak action – we saw several rodeo photos, but this had the best expression and was the most technically excellent (lots of soft and out of focus photos). However, third was a little odd compositionally.
