In the first place image the photographer captured a caring moment that strips away any artifice this event may have had. We felt like we were part of this scene through the photographer's lens choice and closeness to the men. We enjoyed the variation in expressions and good handling of the low light in the second place image. Third is a well-captured moment between a father and son. Distracting elements in the background hurt the image's placing.
