The photographer of the first place image did well to anticipate this moment at the most chaotic time of a championship game. It puts the viewer at the center of the conflict and gives us a look at issues of sportsmanship that are often ignored. We did wish for a more thorough caption to give the argument context. Second place is a great example of stepping back, looking for a different perspective and focusing the viewer's eye on the peak emotion on the woman's face. Third place puts the viewer in the middle of the chaos and celebration of a big win with jubilant faces filling the frame.
