Sports action was another strong category. Lots of great pictures to view. This was a very difficult process with much debate to decide the winners. First place was a peak moment and tack sharp. What more can you say? Second place was another strong peak action moment with a bit more challenging light. Third place could have placed second. It was a tight debate. This was a really unique picture that was part humorous and total peak action.The wide crop worked to show the turf spitting up to show the player was sliding while reaching backwards to hold on to the ball on his finger tips. Fun category with many, many fine entries.
