First place is so well executed, a short series of quality images, with a solid lead to start the piece. Second place suffered by the technical quality of the images. They are all pretty flat, with a cyan tint. The moments are predictable, felt the journalist was just scratching the surface of a very emotional story. The 7th image in the story came so close, had hoped the image would have been take inside the door,showing the reaction of the two people in the doorway. Third place Some solid images of the event, technically sound, the series didn't carry the emotional impact the first and second place selections had.
