The first place story was an easy choice. This photographer clearly earned Taylor Miller’s trust and was able to give a an intimate look into her life. The pictures were well executed and the photographer captured authentic and key storytelling moments. The second place story took us behind the scenes of the work that ICE is doing. They captured compelling images that serves the public interest. The third place story had very nice images and the photographer clearly spent time documenting the homeless people in Santa Rosa. We wished that the story had a more of a focus or a tighter edit.
