First place captured a humorous moment to an unfortunate mistake by the runner that was nicely framed.The photographer who shot second place should buy a lottery ticket because you probably won't be able to replicate the hat flying off and capturing it just as it is parallel to the fence. Awesome shot. Third place may have benefited by the fact that we don't shoot steeplechase but it was well layered and captured a number of things like the arms going a kilter and nice spray.
