First was a quiet photo of boys at a prayer service to honor a classmate killed by a gunshot. Second place used foreground/background composition to show a participant marching to celebrate the anniversary of the American Disability Act. Third shows an elevated Gov. Scott Walker as supporters reach to touch him as he announces his candidacy. Alternate: Three boys provide great expressions on the Scrambler ride at the Lakeside Festival; really more feature than news, but worth an award.
