First and second place felt quite similar but polar opposites in reactions. Both peak reactions with great compositions with respect to the subjects in those environments. Being close and wide angled really helped both these photos! Third place was initially second but seeing the second photo added in as a multiple did not help but the weight of the first tender casket shot kept it in the running. Very weak category overall. Too many photos with not enough thought as to the subject matter they entered and too many "multiple" entries in here. A couple other photos might have won as singles but then there were10 other mediocre/redundant photos around it that robbed a lot of entries of a win.
