Judges Comments

First place ... Funerals are always difficult to cover. This photographer did a great job of covering all aspects of the event. The images showed a sense of community and the strength of the family and their support for each other. The only feedback would be to eliminate one of the two images where the coffin is being brought in/out of the church ... too similar. Well done. Second ... Unusual and engaging. This made us laugh. Third ... Nice story, but we felt too many of the images were similar.
