Sorry to say this was a very weak category. Lots of simple events but not stories. Captions in this category were terrible ... not even close to AP style. So, we only awarded first and second place. First ... A nice story that showed variety of life scenarios. The photographer had good access and made the most of it. Second ... There were some missed opportunities here. We would have liked the photographer to focus on Rev. Mary Perry Pastor and gone more in depth.
