1. The chaos of the holidays was clearly illustrated in the first frame. The gentleman wearing the Santa beard stood out in the frame and good work to the photographer for getting his name. 2. The US Navy veteran wiping snow off of the headstone was quiet moment. The judges liked that the photographer stayed back and set the scene with the surrounding headstones. The wreath added a pop of color in an other wise somber scene. 3. The turtle image had good framing and was graphically appealing.
