All three winning entries captured a feeling of Americana while also capturing a moment. The layers, lines, and repetitions of the first one, as well as the composition in relation to the little boy, allowed it to stand out as our favorite. The second one makes you stop to consider the relationship pictured, has nice light, and a sense of place.
