Judges Comments

Most of the pictures in this category were good for your daily sports page, but they lacked the extra layer of seeing that elevates an entry to the top three. First and second place were moments that balance the foreground and background elements to tell a story. The third third place was good seeing on the part of the photographer to try something different from a volleyball game.
