Judges Comments

The first place entry was excellent emotion — the photographer should be commended for not being afraid to get close and the image really brings the viewer into the scene. Second was an easilyreadable, powerful moment. Third place had multiple images; many of the photographs are very good but they were brought down by weaker images and the package could've benefited from a tighter edit.
