Judges Comments

A lot of the photos filed in this category belonged in the sports action category. One photo in particular didn't even belong in the sports category, but instead feature single. The first place photo was a really solid feature photo from a game. A good decision to follow a player chasing a foul ball. The composition is there and it was just an entertaining photo to look at. Second place was a nice little package. While it did include an couple action shots, it mainly focused on the featurey aspect of the kids' golf league and was a very cute and well shot story. The edit was nice, there wasn't a redundancy of imagery, and what was included helped to tell a cohesive story. Third place is a classic victory shot from a track meet. Technically very well executed. The caption helps to add to the excitement.
