Very strong category, although a few images were more action-related than features and a few multiple-picture entries
would’ve been stronger as just a single picture.
Gorgeous light and solid composition elevated the first-place picture, even though we did talk awhile about if it was
better-suited for the Sports Action category (and clearly ended up with it as a feature). Either way, it’s a lovely picture.
The second place moment has classic jubilation and is a successful overhead angle – not all Hail-Mary shots work but
this one did. Third place is a quality take on some off-the-field action, but a tighter crop might emphasize the excellent
faces’ interactions more. The alternate picture was a nice and simple graphical picture.
