First- This photo essay combined story telling images with great technique and persistence by the photographer. The viewer is brought in to a world few of us know anything about. The photos communicate the danger enforcement officers face and we get a glimpse in to the life of the illegal growers. excellent work. Second- The photographer picked a unique subject for a project that allowed their creativity to be challenged. The portraits are often humorous and give the reader an instant connection to the namesake each subject has lived with. Third- Trying update or tell a story that happened years ago can present a real challenge. The photographer was up to the task using a mix of historic photos and stark portraits to revive the story of the night stalker.
