Judges Comments

First- Sublime work. Excellent lighting in all of these photos. Great peak action of the athletes in a few with a nice mix of more playful moments in others. The facial expressions make a big difference in each photo. The composition really works in each situation and most images convey the drive of a top level athlete. All in all a great package. Second- An interesting angle, frame and lighting all combine with an athletic pose to make this a well put together portrait. Third- A successful portrait of the chef outside her kitchen in a garden with the source of her culinary creations. Nice lighting and pose of the subject help make this image a fine photo.
