Judges Comments

Lots of fine entries to whittle down in the Sports Action category. Eventually decided three winners that exhibited some peak action moments. First place was a consensus winner - nice and tight, and sharp as well. The spray of sweat added a dynamic component to the image as well. Judges liked the overall composition and element of suspense in the second place image. Third place was another peak action moment that continued to hold our interest among a strong group of similar images.
