In the first place photo, we liked the way the photographer didn't frame the portrait in a typical way, yet it expressed the subject's character. Second place was a quiet, intimate moment, and the contrast of the boy's fatigue with the photo of him when he had more energy told the story. Third place was evoked the nature of the subject and what she had gone though.
