The first place photo was the most interesting because of the angle the photographer chose and the moment. Many photos did not have the names of the people in them. They were eliminated. Clip contests aren't just to give awards to the photographers. Contest winners set the standard for the profession, at least in that region. There are never any excuses for poorly written and incomplete captions.
