We wanted a tighter crop on the first place image-but ultimately that didn’t matter since we still chose the peak action moment as the top winner. The facemask is a great capture for second place- we love the unknown of how that mask/head/neck could turn any further. The ball placement and the synchronized kick make the third place image.
