First place was a strong set of images from a hearing about a data center. We appreciated the variety of images from different perspectives. The framing and mid-distance perspective felt a bit repetitive after a while.
Second place was a sweet hug from a vigil. A tender moment set against a dramatic backdrop of clouds and light.
Third place was a great moment of a young girl and her llama racing through an obstacle course. The body language of human and llama felt choreographed. Judges agreed this would have done better in the feature category.
