First place is nice combination of close details, medium, and overall pictures with nice emotional moments and graphically appealing images of the ship and crew with nice use of different focal lengths and depth of field. It has everything from the ship arrival and covers the event well. Second place We’ve not seen a school board meeting photo this interesting in a while. The posters about teacher staffing through the window with the silhouetted hands adds an interesting contrast to the school superintendents speaking in the foreground. Third place We loved the feel and framing of this contemporary smartphone moment at a prom.
