We quickly narrowed the field and were especially drawn to the first-place image of the rowers. We appreciate the patience involved in waiting for the boats to line up, and the calm, quiet mood created by the sky and water. The second-place umbrella image impressed us with its graphic qualities. We liked the shape of the clear umbrella against the mural. The third-place image struck us as clean, quiet and serene.
