This category was beyond light and we couldn't award a third place winner. First place stood out as the photographer got to the scene fast, and had good access as they tried to extricate the woman from the car wreck. Second place wouldn't have won in a more competitive category, but we liked the composition leaving some of the scene in there and the long lens compression worked.
