1. The fall into the crowd photo garnered a genuine out loud reaction from the judges, we all have captured this same moment many times but never captured something as fun as this photo. We also loved all the reactions from the people in the audience. 2. The gymnastics photo was successfully made and a well composed photo. The judges placed it in second for its pictorial value but thought the photographer should be more mindful because the photo rides the line between feature and action. 3. A good photo that fits the category well. The judges appreciated that the photographer made the photo from a different angle other than sitting on the baseline. Love a pumpkin head.
HM: The moment of triumph captured well but could have been technically improved with a faster shutter speed for a sharper image.
