The winning image captured a wonderful moment and with the help of strong captioning became the clear front runner. The second image is a fantastic frame with lovely symmetry. The final image judges kept coming back to due the layering and lines that move the eye across the frame. Judges would encourage entrants to keenly read category descriptions, as a number of entries would have been better suited in the general news category.
