1) Kudos to the photographer for putting themselves in the correct spot and keeping their lines straight while document the peak action with flames. Cropping to put the firefighter on the one-third line helps as well.
2) Utilizing reflections on the sidewalk and waiting for firefighters to help fill the frame is a creative way to cover a fire. Especially if the flame as already been knocked down. And the photographer had the presence of mind to check their backgrounds so the entire ambulance is in the frame.
3) Strong caption information helped this package that should have been entered as a single.
