This category received only four entries, none of which were long-term stories, and two of which we felt didn't rise to the quality of the other two. First place: We believed this series was the most storytelling of the entries due to its mostly clean chronological arc and visual variety, though we felt the ending portrait was unnecessary and detracting. Second place: Despite some redundant images, we felt the series overall was interesting and well-composed. We felt each of the remaining two entries had too few interesting images in relation to the first and second place entries to warrant placement; further, one entry suffered from too much denoising, while the other contained multiple images where the subject was too conscious of the camera.
