Great catch, by the receiver and the photographer, for the first place photo. Second place used a remote to showcase the unique court that provided an interesting background for the athletes. Third place was, at first glance, an ordinary photo until we looked closer and saw the spray of water and turf pellets. Could have cropped a little tighter to spotlight those a bit more, but kudos to the photographer for including this in the edit. The alternate photo was a quintessential action moment from a high school game that deserved recognition as well.
