Judges Comments

We we impressed that so many of the images in the category were moment driven and went beyond daily coverage expectations. First immediately rose to the top for it's great caption, clean composition and tender connection. Second was go our attention with it's playful graphically arresting composition and use of color. It was hurt by a flat caption that didn't help illuminate this visually complex image. Third was an emotional image with a strong caption. One judge marveled that "they could feel the photo."
