Judges Comments

Good images from what appeared to be moments that represented a how-to of events. They were great for daily coverage, however, neither entry possessed the breathe and depth of the expectations of a photo essay or story. Images conveyed a process of events, but were void of moving beyond the moment or scope of the narrative. Both lacked reaction and emotion. Neither story met the criteria. We chose to not award this category.
