Judges agreed this category was packed with great entries. First place Cloud Riders "just has a sunset to die for" said one judge and the other judge saying, simply, "It's pretty perfect." Lightning placed second because it's simply spectacular with a cutline that helped explain its purpose. Beach Reflection earned third because not only is it beautiful, but, again, the cutline was excellent information to help tell the story and purpose of the image. Alternate goes to Skatepark for excellent artistic framing and perspective that makes this a fun image for readers. Comment overall for this category is that it was extremely difficult to judge due to the sheer number of excellent submissions. Well done, West. (one of the judge's favorites had to be eliminated because it didn't contain a date in the cutline.)
