The first place winner here required a careful study by the judges, both of the images and the cutlines. BackBayGem is just an excellent collection that illustrates such a vast subject matter and tells the story so very well - from the details to the landscapes. Second was HonoluluAcroYogaFest which one judge stated "The event could've been a lot of expected images. The photographer instead brings back a wide variety of images that kept me engaged." Third place goes to SantaAnita, the opening day. There were some nice images in here but a tighter edit for the purposes of submitting to the contest would have worked in this submission's favor. Last comment is: the max image limit for this category is 20, which eliminated an otherwise nice entry that would have placed. Another entry was missing the required titled slide. Suggestion: The description field in the title slide is where entrants can provide information about the story. It's a helpful way to make a story introduction for the judges.
