1st: The contrast in demeanor in the two subjects really tells the story. The photographer captured the peak moment. We wish the photographer got the name of the Trump supporter.
2nd: The photographer really captured the story through well thought-out and beautifully composed images. This would have been awarded first place if they had a wide, scene-setting photo showing the expanse of the corn field.
3rd: The photographer did a wonderful job of working different, unique angles. Although, in some of the images, the eye was drawn to the out of focus subject instead of the in-focus subject. We think the set could have used a tighter edit and more detailed cutlines. The shot of the boy being lifted into the air is well-composed and really drew our eye.
