Judges Comments

First Place: The series of photos in “May in Indianapolis” stood out to us as the first-place winner. It's a great variety of images shot at creative angles with great use of light. Second Place: “Savannah Bananas” was a fun grouping of photos. There were some repetitive photos, like the two firework ones, but there were a lot of good moments. We could also tell that the photographer went all around the stadium to shoot from different angles, and we appreciate that effort. Third Place: Good moments from all different areas of the prom were captured — and with great use of light — in “Last Dance,” but we thought it needed a tighter edit. Alternate: “Lyoya” consisted of some action-packed moments, but we thought some photos could have been cropped differently or taken in different light.
